It was getting late in the evening and we were miles from the trailhead. I had a bull down and the fun was about to begin.
Being that we hunt so far into the back country poses many issues that your average hunters do not face. A proper pack helps save our body so we may continue on with our adventures. On this particular trip I was fortunate enough to have on my Blacks Creek Alaskan. When heading out into the great unknown I was happy enough to have ample space in my pack for my daily items, I was even happier to have a pack that expanded enough to carry ½ of the meat from my boned out bull. We made one trip out saving us many steps.
The pack was sturdy enough to hold the weight of the meat. Not only was the pack sturdy enough to carry the load, but it was extremely comfortable due in part to its many adjustments.
I have had the chance to try out many of the Blacks Creek packs and with each comes not only comfort, but also extreme durability. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the Blacks Creek line, you are missing out.
